10th Anniversary Celebration Hafla
Saturday April 16, 2011 Please join Y'Chessa Dahli (Middle Eastern Dance Ensemble) as we celebrate 10 years together! We're hosting workshops by Mirabai (Fan Dance) and Nabeela el Shalimar (Tush Articulation). There will also be vending and an evening hafla.

The Hafla is a show of professional and non-professional dancers, who enjoy celebrating
this middle eastern dance form (called Belly Dancing). This event is open to all and it is suggested
to provide a $5 donation to attend to help cover the expenses for this event. There will be the
Y'Chessa Dalhi Anniversary cake and feel free to bring additional muchies to share.
There will also be a table for misc flyers if you want to get the word out on other events and activities.
Video Policy: Please no video cameras, dvd or digitial recorders, or other recording devices
(including your phone, ipod, etc.) will be allowed at this event. This is for the respect of
the dancers who may not want to be filmed and their privacy. We are working to have an "official"
person available for video that that dancers may request/purchase a copy (see dancer registration).
Still photos are fine.
PARKING: There is limited parking at the facility.
Signs will be posted to provide information on HAFLA parking.
Note: Y'Chessa Dahli and/or the Russian Cultural Center are not liable for any loss or
injury incurred in association of this event.
We are excited to have both Mirabai and Nabeela el Shalimar share their knowledge during some fabulous workshops
that are planned.
Workshop registration cost before April 1st is $20 for one workshop OR $35 for both workshops.
Workshop registration cost on and after April 1st is $25 per workshop at the door.

Are you ready to dance? This will be your opportunity to dance at our 10th Anniversary Celebration Hafla.
Performance times for both soloists and duets is 5 minutes;
perfomrance times for troupes (3 or more) is 7 minutes.
Dancer selection will be randomly drawn from the Dancer registration information submited.
Dancer registration will begin on March 1 and end on March 12. Any Dancers or Troupes
not selected will be put on waiting list. You will be contacted on confirmation of your registration (per email).

This event will have vending opportunities available for those who have a business and for those
who are just trying to sell some of those costumes that -uh- you are ready to let go. The cost to vend
at this event is $15.00 per table with a max of 2 racks per table. Tables will be supplied; you will
need to bring your own racks. Table (area) payment will be made on day of event. However, registration
will be required to reserve your space. You will be contacted on confirmation of your registration (per email).

You will be contacted on confirmation of your registration (per email). The Deadline to receive the add request
is April 1. Add Size/Price is $15 for 5x8 (vertical); $8 for 5x4 (vertical); and $5 for Business card.
Payment is also due with 4 days of ad requests (additional directions/address) will be provided
on confirmation.
